Andy Morris is primarily a self taught artist growing up in North Texas during the 60's.
Recently he has been in local shows and won a Merchants Award in the Richardson Civic Art Society Over 50 Show.
He is a member of the Irving Art Association, Southwest Watercolor Society, Richardson Civic Art Society, and Trinity Art Guild.
He has sold numerous paintings to collectors across America and in Canada and Puerto Rico.
His bold expressive large abstract paintings are primarily about relationships. Sometimes concerned with personal experiences, other times regarding elements of nature, the way light interacts with rain, the subdued colors of West Texas abruptly interrupted by bright red sky, inner landscapes of imaginary spaces.
